Marvel SNAP's initial Spotlight Cache card of 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing card that enhances cards generated within your hand. While often considered a core card for card-generation decks, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two effective deck builds for Victoria Hand, one for each archetype, to help you integrate her into the current SNAP meta.

The Best Deck for Victoria Hand
A card-generation deck featuring Devil Dinosaur is ideally suited for Victoria Hand. To maximize their synergy, combine them with: Quinjet, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Cosmo, The Collector, Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl.
| Card | Cost | Power |
|---|
| Victoria Hand | 2 | 3 |
| Devil Dino | 5 | 3 |
| The Collector | 2 | 2 |
| Quinjet | 1 | 2 |
| Agent Coulson | 3 | 4 |
| Agent 13 | 1 | 2 |
| Mirage | 2 | 2 |
| Frigga | 3 | 4 |
| Kate Bishop | 2 | 3 |
| Moon Girl | 4 | 5 |
| Valentina | 2 | 3 |
| Cosmo | 3 | 3 |
Iron Patriot, Mystique, and Speed can substitute for Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Frigga.
Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards for added buffs or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo provides crucial protection.
- Devil Dino is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with numerous generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or cards that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
When playing a Victoria Hand deck, remember:
- Balance card generation and energy management: Aim for a full hand for Devil Dino's maximum growth, while also generating cards and utilizing Victoria Hand's effect. Efficient energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is more beneficial than filling the board.
- Use unexpected card plays: Victoria Hand decks generate random cards. Strategic placement of these cards can mislead your opponent and mask your next move.
- Protect your Ongoing lane: Opponents often target the Victoria Hand lane with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dino and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and protecting them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also proving effective in refined discard decks. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.
| Card | Cost | Power |
|---|
| Victoria Hand | 2 | 3 |
| Helicarrier | 6 | 10 |
| Morbius | 2 | 0 |
| Lady Sif | 3 | 5 |
| Scorn | 1 | 2 |
| Blade | 1 | 3 |
| Corvus Glaive | 3 | 5 |
| Colleen Wing | 2 | 4 |
| Apocalypse | 6 | 8 |
| Swarm | 2 | 3 |
| The Collector | 2 | 2 |
| MODOK | 5 | 8 |
Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull effectively counters Victoria Hand. His synergy with Doctor Doom 2099 decks makes him a strong tech card against both Victoria Hand and Doom 2099 lineups.
Other counters include Shadow King (removes Victoria Hand's buffs in one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can also disrupt Power distribution in key enemy lanes.
Is Victoria Hand Worth It?
Victoria Hand is a valuable card. Whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or purchased with Tokens, she offers a strong return on investment. While somewhat reliant on RNG, her permanent buffs facilitate consistent deck building. Her compatibility with multiple archetypes (card-generation and discard) makes her a highly desirable card for many players.
