In Midnight Girl, you step into the shoes of Monique, a Parisian cat burglar with lofty ambitions. The narrative kicks off with Monique's encounter with Night Owl, a legendary burglar, in jail. Their shared goal? To secure the Luxembourg diamond, concealed in a vault beneath Paris.
Monique's quest for the diamond is driven by her desire to fund her journey to Chile to reconnect with her estranged father. To achieve this, they'll resort to tactics ranging from impersonating nunnery staff to dodging guards in the Paris Metro.
However, the heist is far from straightforward. As someone else keeps a watchful eye on Monique, the mission grows increasingly complex. Players will navigate through a series of inventory-based puzzles spread across twelve chapters.
The mobile version maintains the straightforward point-and-click mechanics of the original. Players will click to explore hotspots, interact with items, and expand maps. The game's 1960s Paris setting is beautifully rendered, complete with a jazz soundtrack that sets the perfect atmosphere.
