Remember those themed popcorn buckets? Of course you do. Well, get ready for more, because the upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the bandwagon with its own set of concessions novelties available during its theatrical run. According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a unique TNT box as its popcorn bucket, paired with a chicken jockey drink container—an iconic reference for fans of the game. These items are exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the United States, but what other theaters have in store for Minecraft enthusiasts remains to be seen.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that started with the viral R2-D2 popcorn bucket from 2019's Rise of Skywalker. The success of that bucket sparked a new tradition in theaters, which, while perhaps a bit overdone and pricey, continues to draw audiences to the cinematic experience. If it keeps people coming to the theaters, count me in!
