A curious twist: Mantis, despite her popularity, is also the most frequently defeated hero in competitive mode, leading the loss count on both PC and consoles, surpassing Hela, Loki, and Magic. Her console dominance is further underscored by 14 other characters boasting win rates exceeding 50%.

Conversely, unpopular characters include Storm, Black Widow, and Wolverine in "quick play," with Nemore taking their place in competitive modes.

Marvel Rivals, after a month of receiving over 500 mods, finds itself in controversy. Nexus Mods removed modifications replacing Captain America's head with images of Donald Trump and Joe Biden, sparking significant user reaction.

Nexus Mods owner, TheDarkOne, explained the decision in a private Reddit discussion. He stated that to avoid accusations of bias, both Trump and Biden-related mods were removed concurrently. This simultaneous removal was implemented to ensure neutrality.
