Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol introduces its first DLC, The Sins of New Wells, for mobile users. Set to launch on March 4th, this expansion will also be available on PC and consoles. Mobile players with a Netflix subscription can access it at no extra cost through Netflix Gaming.
The DLC immerses players in a web of mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. New Wells is a city plagued by unparalleled corruption and chaos. Detective Roy Samson, newly assigned to the 9th District, finds himself in a place where justice is a rare commodity.
Corruption runs rampant, and crime dictates daily life. Teamed with his partner, Cliff Savea, Roy investigates a string of gruesome crimes, uncovering a far darker conspiracy.
The Sins of New Wells delivers four intricate new cases, each brimming with deception, crime, and mystery. Players will tackle Following Orders, Trouble Unleashed, The Raid, and Unraveling, piecing together clues to uncover lies and hidden motives—no one is above suspicion.
Solving these cases requires interrogating unreliable suspects and unraveling complex puzzles, all while navigating the madness that engulfs New Wells.
The Sins of New Wells, the first DLC for Rise of the Golden Idol, launches for mobile players at 9 AM PT (5 PM GMT) on March 4th. Color Gray Games has teased more content, with at least four additional DLCs planned for 2025.
Rise of the Golden Idol has solidified its reputation as a top-tier modern detective game. Netflix subscribers can download it for free on the Google Play Store.
