Nintendo has confirmed that pre-orders for the Switch 2 will open in the U.S. on April 24, 2025, maintaining its original $449.99 price point with a June 5 launch date.
In an official update, Nintendo stated that while the console's pricing remains unchanged, Switch 2 accessories may see adjustments from previously announced April 2 prices due to shifting market conditions. The company emphasized that future product pricing could also be subject to change based on economic factors.
The company verified that both the standalone console and the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will retain their original prices at $499.99. Launch titles Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also maintain their initial pricing for both physical and digital versions.
