Official Basketball Rivals Release Date – Trailer, Trello, and Public Playtest

Get ready, basketball fans! The highly anticipated successor to Blue Lock Rivals, Basketball Rivals, is finally arriving. Based on the popular Kuroko's Basketball anime and manga, this new game from Chrollo is bringing the heat with a brand-new trailer, release date, and exciting public playtests. Basketball Rivals officially launches on March 14, 2025, at 5 PM EST. The long-awaited trailer is finally here (see below!), and we highly recommend checking out the official event page for the latest updates and any potential last-minute schedule changes.

Check out the hype-filled trailer below! It showcases the unique styles of characters like Aomine Daiki's electrifying dribbling and scoring, and Shintaro Midorima's incredible full-court shots. While testers are already familiar with these abilities, this gives newcomers a thrilling preview of the powers they can unlock.

Basketball Rivals Public Playtest – Prerelease

Keep an eye on the official Basketball Rivals game page and Discord server for prerelease public playtests. Chrollo has announced that the game will open to the public for 30-minute periods each time the Release Event page hits 20,000 interested players (20k, 40k, 60k, and so on). Don't miss your chance to jump in before launch! Please note that any Robux purchases during the playtest will not be carried over to the official launch.

Official Basketball Rivals Trello

Currently, there's no official Basketball Rivals Trello board in the prerelease phase. However, Chrollo has confirmed that an official Trello will be available after launch. This Trello will detail all the customization options and the various styles available for each main character from Kuroko's Basketball, similar to the format used in Blue Lock Rivals.
