Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness

Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO by Northern Forge Studios, is hosting Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event tackling real-world environmental pollution. Running from September 9th to 19th, this event blends virtual gameplay with real-world action.

Fighting Pollution, One Tree at a Time

Terra's Legacy challenges players to identify and report polluted locations in their real-world surroundings through the Orna app. Northern Forge will then transform these locations into in-game "Gloomsites," representing the impact of pollution.

Players battle the Murk, pollution-themed enemies, at these Gloomsites. Defeating the Murk contributes to raising awareness about pollution. Players can then plant virtual trees and grow Gaia apples in these same polluted areas. These apples can be used to customize characters and enhance their magical abilities, and can even be harvested by other players. The more players participate, the cleaner both the game world and the real world become.
