Painter’s Regret Treasure Map Location in Avowed

In *Avowed*, treasure maps can be obtained through various methods, such as purchasing them or discovering them while exploring the vast world. The Painter’s Regret map, however, can only be found out in the game world.

The Painter’s Regret treasure map is located in Emerald Stair, the second major area you'll visit in *Avowed*. Specifically, it's found in a house on the northeast end of Coastal Farms. Look for a large house positioned in front of a rock face; this is where you'll need to enter to find the map. Be prepared, as you'll encounter numerous enemies outside the house that you and your party must defeat before proceeding inside.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed

As with many RPGs, entering the Painter’s Regret house isn't as straightforward as walking through the front door, which is barred shut. After defeating the enemies outside, proceed to the right side of the house where you'll find a walkway leading to an accessible back door. Enter through this door to find yourself inside the house, where a large painting on an easel awaits you. This painting is the treasure map you seek. Grab it, and you're ready to hunt for the treasure in *Avowed*.

With the map in hand, head to the western side of the river southwest of Fior mes Iverno to find the treasure. Your reward for this quest is the Painter’s Brush unique trinket, which boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat effectiveness in the Living Lands.
