Path of Exile 2: How to Get Loot Filters on Console

Quick Links

Loot filters are invaluable in Path of Exile 2, especially as the item drops increase. They declutter your screen, highlighting important items for a smoother looting experience. While managing items on console with a controller can be cumbersome, PlayStation and Xbox players can utilize loot filters just like PC users. However, the process on consoles is slightly different, so this guide will walk you through the steps.

How to Link Path of Exile 2 and Console Accounts

To use loot filters on Path of Exile 2 consoles, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account through the Path of Exile 1 website. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Path of Exile website.
  2. Click your account name in the upper-left corner.
  3. Click "Manage Account" on the right, below your profile.
  4. Under "Secondary Login," press "Connect" for either Sony (PS) or Microsoft (Xbox).

After selecting "Connect," you'll be prompted to log in to your PlayStation or Xbox account. Complete the login process to link your accounts.

Finding and Using Loot Filters

Once linked, return to your profile page on the website and click the "Item Filters" button on the right. Click the "Item Filter Ladder" hyperlink. This opens a new tab with available loot filters.

Select "PoE 2" from the drop-down menu above the filter list. Choose your preferred filter and click "Follow." For new players, NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters offer a good starting point.

After following a filter, open Path of Exile 2 and navigate to the Options menu. Go to the "Game" tab. At the top, you'll find the "Item Filter" option. Select your followed filter from the drop-down menu and click "Save." Your chosen filter will now modify item labels, colors, and/or sound effects.
