Step back to 1999 with A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999, the latest charming title from Littoral Games, creators of Growing Up and Chinese Parents. This new game retains that cozy, nostalgic feel, boasting a beautiful watercolor hand-painted art style that perfectly complements the heartwarming narrative.
For a limited time, enjoy a launch week special price of $1.99 (February 27th – March 5th). After that, the price increases to $2.99 on Android. Pre-registered players can claim an exclusive in-game reward, the Panda Quake Mini 4WD, by visiting Brother Cao at the Youth Palace. Don't miss the limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, hidden in ‘My Bedroom’ until March 26th.
What awaits you in A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999?
As the title suggests, you'll relive the final day of 1999 in a captivating time-loop puzzle. Littoral Games once again delivers a nostalgic 90s experience. This time, you're an elementary schoolboy trapped in a Groundhog Day-esque loop on December 31st, 1999. Unravel secrets, mend relationships, and help your classmates, friends, and family achieve their "perfect day" across seven time segments, interacting with eleven main characters and twenty event cards. One free DLC is also included.
Repeat, Revisit, Rewrite:
The game masterfully explores themes of memory, regret, and the power of choice. Revisit childhood friendships, delve into the lives of your parents, and make impactful decisions that alter the story's course. The interconnected narrative unfolds differently with each repeated day, offering replayability and a unique experience.
Adding to the nostalgic charm are several mini-games, including a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console experience, and an arcade—a perfect blend of interactive storytelling and 90s gaming culture.
