The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans as they've announced a Pokémon Presents event scheduled for next week, in celebration of Pokémon Day. This event promises to bring the latest updates on the beloved franchise.
Mark your calendars for February 27, 2025. You can catch the live stream on the official Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific Time, 9am Eastern Time, or 2pm UK Time. While details are still under wraps, Pokémon enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating news about the next mainline Pokémon game, which remains a mystery. The Pokémon Company has already teased fans with a spin-off title, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set to launch in 2025, but the next official "generation" of Pokémon has yet to be unveiled.
These Pokémon Presents events typically offer updates across the franchise's various ongoing titles. Expect to hear the latest on games like Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Additionally, there might be news about the more recently introduced Pokémon TCG Pocket, alongside updates on the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Reflecting on last year's event, it unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and provided insights into the Pokémon Trading Card Game's mobile version. Notably, 2024 marked a shift with only one Pokémon Presents event and no major Pokémon game release, a first since 2015.
Stay tuned for more details and get ready to celebrate Pokémon Day with the latest updates from The Pokémon Company!
