Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. But act fast—this special move is only learnable within one week of the event. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack, Torch Song, without any time restrictions.
A special Timed Research event offers a Fuecoco encounter with a unique Seasonal Special Background. Completing the research tasks further boosts your chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco! This Timed Research runs until March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).
For a boosted Fuecoco experience, consider the $2.00 Community Day Special Research. This ticket grants three Fuecoco encounters (each with the Seasonal Special Background), along with the usual Battle Pass and Rare Candies. You can even gift this ticket to a friend who is at least Great Friends with you.
Beyond Fuecoco's fiery debut, Pokémon GO has revealed the dates for Community Day events spanning March to May. Get ready for weekend fun!
"Community Day Classic" events bring back beloved Pokémon from past Community Days, offering a chance to catch Pokémon you might have missed. Ralts, originally featured in August 2019, made a comeback in January 2025, and more classic Community Day Pokémon are set to return! The Beloved Buddies event, featuring the debut of Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research with two exciting paths: one featuring Candela (Team Valor) and the other featuring Arlo (Team GO Rocket).
Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, choose your path!
Candela's Path: Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Arlo's Path: Offers similar item rewards, plus a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
