Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetic Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic items to the in-game shop. Players can now acquire a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. These additions join the existing Shinedust exchange option.

The event's second part runs until January 22nd, offering players a limited time to earn event tickets. However, the event shop, where these new cosmetics can be purchased, remains open until January 28th, providing a slightly extended window to acquire the desired items. Players are encouraged to log in regularly to maximize their ticket collection before the January 22nd deadline.

Following a busy holiday season filled with generous login bonuses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. The event shop offers the aforementioned cosmetics, and surplus event tickets can be exchanged for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event's first phase, starting January 6th, introduced two new promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. While possessing identical attacks to their standard counterparts, these promo cards boast unique artwork. Rewards from the first phase, including a Blue-themed backdrop and a Blue and Blastoise cover, remain available. New missions, rewarding Event Shop Tickets, involve participating in Wonder Picks and collecting Fire and Water-type cards. These missions are cumulative across both event phases, and the Bonus Pick also offers additional tickets. Daily logins are strongly recommended to collect all items, especially considering the rumored untradability of these limited-edition promo cards.
