The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, "Shining Revelry," has brought a dazzling array of over 110 new cards to the game, including shiny variants that have players excited. The new cards feature additions from the Paldea region, enriching the game's collection. As soon as the update went live, I couldn't resist using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs. To my delight, I pulled a Charizard EX, though the rest of the haul was less impressive. However, finding a Pokémon Center Lady card was a small comfort, as her ability to heal Special Conditions can be a game-changer, especially when dealing with debilitating effects like Burn.

Alongside the new cards, the update introduces an Emblem event where players can earn stylish new badges to show off to friends. The highlight of this update, however, is the introduction of Ranked Matches. Players can now compete against others, climbing from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Points will be displayed throughout the season, and an emblem will be awarded at the end, which lasts approximately one month. This addition has reignited my passion for dueling, prompting me to start refining my decks seriously.
