The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the global elite are set, let's analyze the character choices amongst them.
Following the World Warrior circuit's conclusion, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data offers a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, though only one player opted for Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (including eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even the recent addition, Terry Bogard, only attracted two players.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each selected as a main character by 17 players. A significant gap separates this top tier from the next, which includes Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each). Amongst the less frequently chosen characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each serving as the primary character for seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled for March in Tokyo, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the champion.
