Metal Slug: Awakening delivers a modern update to the beloved 90s franchise. Following its Southeast Asian release in late 2023 (and a journey that began with TiMi Studios' 2020 teaser, Metal Slug Code: J), this highly anticipated title is finally ready for worldwide players.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Metal Slug is a renowned Japanese run-and-gun franchise, originally launched in 1996 by Nazca Corporation and since expanded into a multimedia phenomenon. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense (2014), Metal Slug Attack (2016), and Metal Slug Commander (2020) existed, Awakening promises a significant leap forward in features and gameplay.
