Amazon Prime Gaming is rolling out an exciting lineup of 16 free games for subscribers in January, featuring renowned titles such as Deus Ex and BioShock 2 Remastered. Out of these, five games are already available for claiming, and all you need is an Amazon Prime subscription.
Previously known as Twitch Prime, Prime Gaming is a well-known Amazon initiative that provides monthly perks to Prime subscribers. The highlight is a rotating selection of free games that can be kept forever once redeemed. Prime Gaming also offers in-game loot for popular titles like Overwatch 2, League of Legends, and Pokemon GO, although these offers concluded last year.
The free games continue to be a major draw, and Amazon has unveiled the 16 titles available in January. BioShock 2 Remastered, Spirit Mancer, Eastern Exorcist, The Bridge, and SkyDrift Infinity are already up for grabs. BioShock 2 Remastered stands out with its enhanced graphics, continuing the saga of the underwater city of Rapture. Spirit Mancer is another intriguing title, featuring a demon hunter transported to the infernal realm, blending hack-and-slash with deck-building mechanics, and drawing inspiration from Mega Man, Pokemon, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Among the other titles available this month, Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition is set to be released on January 23. This version of the first game in the iconic Deus Ex series immerses players in a dystopian world, drawing influences from films like Blade Runner and RoboCop. Players take on the role of JC Denton, an anti-terrorist agent uncovering a vast conspiracy. Super Meat Boy Forever, set to be released on January 30, is a sequel to the notoriously challenging Super Meat Boy. In this game, players join Meat Boy and Bandage Girl in their mission to rescue their daughter, Nugget, from Dr. Fetus.
Amazon Prime subscribers can still claim some December 2024 Prime Gaming titles, but time is running out. The Coma: Recut and Planet of Lana are available until January 15, while Simulakros remains available until March 19. Some November offers are also still active, with Shogun Showdown expiring on January 28, House of Golf 2 on February 12, and Jurassic World Evolution and Elite Dangerous on February 25.
