Amazon Prime's live-action Fallout series is gearing up for its second season, commencing filming this November. The announcement follows the April premiere of the first season, which ended on a significant cliffhanger.
Fallout Season 2: Filming Commences, Cast Uncertainties Remain
Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson), confirmed the November start date to Screen Rant. While her return is confirmed, the full cast remains unannounced, though Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams hinted at intriguing developments for her character, Betty Pearson, a Vault-Tec executive assistant, promising surprises for viewers. "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A tentative release date of 2026 is projected, considering the filming schedule and post-production timeline. This aligns with the production timeline of Season 1 (filmed July 2022, premiered April 2024). However, an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
Fallout Season 2 Heads to New Vegas

Producer Graham Wagner revealed that Season 2 will venture to New Vegas, introducing the Fallout: New Vegas antagonist, Robert House. The extent of House's involvement remains undisclosed, although his presence was subtly hinted at in Season 1 flashbacks.
Wagner and showrunner Robertson-Dworet previously indicated that Season 2 will expand on Season 1's mysteries, exploring untold stories and pivotal moments. This includes delving deeper into Vault-Tec executives, the origins of the Great War, and providing further character development through flashbacks.
