*Rainbow Six Siege X* is currently in its closed beta phase but is slated for a full release in June 2025, available on both home consoles and PC. Ubisoft, the game's publisher, heralds this update as the most extensive content overhaul *Rainbow Six Siege* has ever seen. One of the highlights of *Siege X*, already accessible in the closed beta, is the Dual Front game mode. This mode introduces intense 6-on-6 team battles, bringing a new level of chaos and coordination to the game. The larger maps in Dual Front require teams to strategize which areas to attack and defend, completing objectives as they confront the enemy.

In addition to the new game mode, *Siege X* will revamp several existing maps, overhaul the user interface, enhance the technical presentation, and introduce a rebalanced online matchmaking system designed to better support new players.

Rainbow Six Siege X Trailer

On March 13, 2025, Ubisoft unveiled a gameplay trailer for *Rainbow Six Siege X* to coincide with the start of its closed beta test. The trailer showcases the excitement of the Dual Front mode and its new map, emphasizing the frenetic 6-on-6 gameplay. It also hints at enhancements to the core game, including technical improvements, new gameplay features, and rewards for existing players. Additionally, *Siege X* will offer free-to-play access to attract new players to the game.

The *Rainbow Six Siege X* closed beta is scheduled to run from March 13 to March 19, with select partner players streaming the beta version on Twitch. Viewers who tune into these streams during the closed beta period have the opportunity to receive their own access code, valid for the six-day duration of the beta. To participate, players must link their Twitch account to their Ubisoft Connect account. Notably, owning *Rainbow Six Siege* is not a prerequisite for joining the *Siege X* closed beta.

Ubisoft has detailed the *Siege X* closed beta and how to access it on their official website. There are no current plans for additional beta testing, including an open beta, before the full launch of *Siege X* in June. As *Rainbow Six Siege* celebrates its tenth anniversary, *Siege X* represents a bold step forward, continuing Ubisoft's tradition of delivering engaging games inspired by Tom Clancy's works.
