Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by small arms fire, explosives can destroy it. The shield's activation speed varies depending on the shooter: one second for attackers, three seconds for defenders – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser plants.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game's arsenal. Players can also choose between the M249 LMG and the 417 marksman rifle as primary weapons.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the next week, with a later release date planned for the live game.
