When Does It Start?
Mark your calendars! The Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers. Aspiring champions will battle it out during three qualifying stages scheduled for March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. These qualifiers will determine who advances to the finals.
The top female players from the first two qualifiers will secure their spots alongside the overall winners. The grand finale is set for May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium, where finalists will compete live in front of an audience. The entire event will be streamed live on Twitch, ensuring fans worldwide can follow the action.
What’s New This Year?
The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 introduces an innovative team-based format, shifting from individual play to team competition. Each team will be led by a prominent figure in French tennis, with Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, confirmed as one of the captains. Simon, who has been involved with the eSeries as a commentator since 2023 and competed in the Top 8 in 2024, will coach one of the squads. The identity of the second captain, a Grand Slam winner, remains a tantalizing mystery.

Once the teams are finalized, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the winner’s side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team will start in the loser’s bracket.
Defending his title is the reigning champion, Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, who will be joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's event drawing 548,000 participants from 215 territories, the 2025 competition is poised to be even more competitive.
