The Royal Titans Have Arrived in Old School RuneScape
The fire giants, led by Brandr, the Fire Queen, have grown ambitious and are seeking more territory. Their expansion leads them directly into the Asgarnian Ice Cave, already home to the ice giants under the command of Eldric, the King of Frost. This sparks a legendary confrontation between the two elemental forces, and you can join the fray.
This Dual Boss encounter pits you against both Brandr and Eldric simultaneously. To succeed, you'll need to adapt your gear quickly to exploit their elemental weaknesses. Going solo is an option, but teaming up with a friend can make the battle more manageable and enjoyable.
Defeating the Royal Titans offers a chance to obtain the Twinflame Staff, a formidable weapon, and the Giantsoul Amulet. The latter is an untradeable teleport item that allows instant travel to any of the three major giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans themselves.
What Are the Special Goodies?
The Royal Titans update introduces a plethora of rewards. You can earn valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and even a unique Fire & Ice giant pet. For those focused on Slayer XP, a new Slayer Alternative Task has been added, allowing you to gain experience by battling fire and ice giants alongside the bosses.
In addition to the Royal Titans, Old School RuneScape is gearing up to celebrate its 12th birthday on February 19th. Expect a special birthday livestream, in-game decorations, and new cosmetic rewards to mark the occasion.
