Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans! The game is set to dazzle with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon through the exciting new expansion, Shining Revelry. The Pokémon Company has confirmed that these sparkling variants will soon grace your digital card collections, adding a whole new level of thrill to your gameplay.
Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion launches. This update is not just about Shinies; it's bringing over 110 new cards to the table. You'll have the chance to pull Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. What's more, these cards will shimmer when tilted, adding an extra layer of visual delight. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.
In addition to the Shiny Pokémon, characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono, will join the fray. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you the opportunity to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. Don't miss out on the chance to see the first batch of Shiny Pokémon in action in Pokémon TCG Pocket!
Shiny Pokémon have been a cherished part of the Pokémon TCG for years, with their debut in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation. The Hidden Fates set later set a new standard for modern Shiny cards with its extensive Shiny Vault.
The wait is over for competitive players as ranked matches are set to launch in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The inaugural season starts on March 28th and will run through April 27th, featuring the new cards from Shining Revelry. You'll be pitted against opponents of similar skill levels, ensuring a fair and exciting challenge. At the end of the season, you'll receive an emblem based on your final rank, perfect for showcasing your prowess on your profile. If this sounds thrilling, be sure to download the game from the Google Play Store and get ready to battle!
