Sneasel and Weavile: Catching Guide in Pokemon Sleep

Nothing gets *Pokémon* fans more excited than the introduction of new creatures to catch, and *Pokémon Sleep* players have been treated to just that. As of December 3, Sneasel and Weavile have joined the roster, ready to be befriended—provided you know the tricks of the trade.

Where Can You Get Sneasel and Weavile in Pokemon Sleep?

As you might expect from their mainline series dual Ice and Dark typing, Sneasel and Weavile can be found at Snowdrop Tundra in *Pokémon Sleep*. However, they'll only be Dark types here, as the game doesn't support dual typing.

For players who haven't yet unlocked Snowdrop Tundra, fear not—Sneasel and Weavile are also available on the starter island, Greengrass Isle. This means everyone has a chance to study these newcomers right from the get-go.

If you've chosen a different island for your weekly research but want to encounter Sneasel and Weavile, you can use the EZ Travel Ticket item to switch your focus to either Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle.

Sneasel and Weavile Sleep Types in Pokemon Sleep

Both Sneasel and its evolved form, Weavile, fall under the Dozing sleep type. This means they're more likely to appear on Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle if you've logged a Dozing sleep type for the night.

As the first evolution, Sneasel is easier to encounter during Sleep Research. To evolve it into Weavile, you'll need 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw item. However, to gather Sleep Research data on Weavile, you'll still need to encounter it in the wild.

Are Sneasel and Weavile Good in Pokemon Sleep?

Understanding how to get Sneasel is just the beginning. What do Sneasel and Weavile bring to the table in terms of skills, berries, and ingredients? As a Dark type, Sneasel will collect Wiki Berries when part of your team, making it an excellent choice for Snowdrop Tundra.

Sneasel shines in berry gathering, and it can also enhance your dishes with an Extra Tasty boost. With its ability to provide some of the more coveted ingredients, a Sneasel with a good set of ingredients is a valuable addition to your Snowdrop Tundra team.

Sneasel Debut Bundle in Pokemon Sleep
