While the previous generation Sony XM4 was already an outstanding headphone, the XM5 introduces key enhancements in noise cancellation and comfort. It features a second processor and double the number of microphones dedicated to filtering out ambient noise. The noise cancellation is notably superior to that of the XM4 and most other noise-canceling headsets within its price range.
