A limited-time event in *The Sims 4* has players on a scavenger hunt, searching for hidden items. One particularly tricky task involves locating the Special Time Capsule during the Blast from the Past event. Here's how to find it before time runs out.
The Blast from the Past event begins with a mystery surrounding a visitor named Emit. You'll gather clues by watching TV, checking social media, and chatting with other Sims. Finding the Special Time Capsule, however, requires a bit more detective work.
The clues point to rocks in parks. Having already spoken to Emit at the Willow Creek park provides a good starting point. Examine the rocks; one will contain diamonds, indicating the Special Time Capsule's location. Interact with the rock to begin digging. You might need to check several rocks, but there are plenty to investigate.
Opening the Special Time Capsule reveals an IOU note—a slightly underwhelming reward for your efforts! Read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.
The Blast from the Past event offers numerous quests, so take your time. The event runs until March 18, 2025, giving you ample opportunity to complete all tasks. However, completing all four weeks unlocks significant rewards:
