In the immersive world of Stalker 2, Journalist Stashes are hidden treasures scattered across various regions, with some areas boasting multiple stashes ripe for looting. One such stash, located in the Garbage Region's Car Maze, contains a formidable suit of armor. Reaching this stash might seem daunting, but with our guide, you'll navigate the Maze with ease.
How to Get the Garbage Journalist Cache in Maze
To secure the Journalist Stash in Stalker 2, head northwest from the Slag Heap towards the Car Maze. Though the maze offers multiple entry points, opt for the main entrance, clearly marked on the map provided.
Upon entering the Maze, veer right until you spot a burned-up bus lying on its side. To your left, you'll see another bus, this one with a distinctive blue exterior. Climb atop this bus to reveal the Maze Journalist Stash. Descend on the opposite side and unlock the stash to claim the coveted Tourist Suit Body Armor.
Is the Tourist Suit Body Armor Any Good?
The Tourist Suit emerges as one of the premier early to mid-game body armors in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It boasts impressive thermal, electrical, and chemical protection, but its true value lies in the significant radiation and physical protection it offers, enabling you to endure heightened radiation levels and other damage sources.
Beyond bolstering your physical defenses, the Tourist Suit enhances your gameplay by improving your stamina regeneration rate by 5%. Stamina is crucial in Stalker 2, where you'll be traversing the expansive world on foot. A higher stamina paired with faster regeneration means you can travel further and more efficiently.
While the Tourist Suit is already a solid choice, it can be further enhanced through upgrades. Although Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade this armor, Diode at Slag Heap possesses the necessary skills. Take your suit to him, and he can equip it with high-quality mods, elevating its attributes to new heights.
