SHIFT UP, the developers behind the game, recently unveiled a trailer for the much-anticipated Goddess of Victory: NIKKE DLC collaboration. Uploaded to YouTube on May 22, the trailer quickly caught the attention of fans worldwide, especially due to the surprising cameo of the chibi-dog meme, Doro.In the trailer's closing moments, Doro interacts with Stellar Blade’s protagonist, Eve, bringing a delightful and animated touch to the scene. The meme, which originated from fan art of Stella Unibell from "Soulworker" and evolved into "Dororong" in the NIKKE community, showcases Doro's playful and chaotic personality. Known globally as "Gremlin Dorothy," Doro's influence has even reached SHIFT UP's CEO Kim Hyung Tae, who was spotted with a Christmas-themed Doro plush in 2024. While Doro's exact role in the collaboration remains a mystery, fans are thrilled and intrigued by this unexpected yet fitting addition.
Stellar Blade x NIKKE Launches June 11
Mark your calendars for June 11, as the Stellar Blade x NIKKE crossover event launches alongside the game's PC version on Steam. The official website teases an array of exciting features, including a new boss battle against Scarlet from NIKKE, exclusive themed rewards, new outfits, and a thrilling mini-game inspired by NIKKE’s sci-fi shooting mechanics.
According to the website, "The warrior Scarlet has arrived from Shift Up’s hit third-person shooter mobile app to challenge you in a one-on-one showdown for the ages – only by defeating this new Boss, can you claim a new costume, hairstyle, and song for EVE as a reward." In addition to the boss fight, players can visit Volt's rewards shop, managed by NIKKE's loyal robotic dog, to purchase themed outfits and cosmetics. There's also a relaxing fishing mini-game where players can collect six unique NIKKE items.
While details about the outfits and other rewards are yet to be disclosed, the excitement surrounding the collaboration between these two SHIFT UP titles is palpable. The Goddess of Victory: NIKKE DLC will be available as a separate add-on and is included in Stellar Blade's Ultimate Edition.
