Digital preorders and the Day One physical edition of the game come with a bundle of in-game digital items. You'll receive the following:
Potch is the in-game currency. A Fortune Orb doubles the experience gained by the player holding it, while a Prosperity Orb doubles the currency a character receives from battles. Note that the main character of the first Suikoden game can't hold both orbs simultaneously.
Originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1995 and 1998, Suikoden I and Suikoden II made their way to Western audiences a year later. These games are renowned for their unique mechanic of recruiting 108 warriors to join your cause against evil forces.
The remaster retains the charm of the original pixelated graphics but enhances them to fit modern wide-screen displays. Spell effects have been improved for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in HD. Alongside these visual upgrades, the remaster introduces quality-of-life features such as speed-up battles, auto-battle mode, auto-save, a conversation log, and a revamped user interface for easier navigation and equipment management.
