Sunset Hills is a new puzzle game for Android from Cottongame, the studio behind Reviver and Mr. Pumpkin Adventure. Like its predecessors, the game unfolds in a gentle, pastel-colored world, filled with historic city architecture, anthropomorphic dogs, and touching stories.

Accompany Nico, A War Veteran, On His Journey

In Sunset Hills, you step into the shoes of Nico Grant, a novelist and former soldier. The story begins in June 794 as he boards a train to reunite with his old comrades.

Seven years have passed since the war's end, and an inner calling compels him to reach out to them. The friends he plans to meet are Ferruccio, Doug, and Roy.

The narrative thoughtfully explores emotions and memories. As a child, Nico was a quiet boy who preferred books to people, frequently retreating into his own imagination.

He was drafted into the war like so many others, and his small stature and unique nature made him a target. He faced bullying, was often left on his own, and struggled to keep up. Yet, he discovered a way to cope by writing.

A small notebook became his personal refuge. Strangely, that same notebook eventually built a connection between him and his squadmates. Initial teasing gradually transformed into lifelong friendships that endured long after the war.

Now an adult and published author, Nico travels by train through various cities and nations. At each station, you'll experience poignant moments while solving engaging puzzles.

Sunset Hills Reveals The Strangeness Of Post-War Life

The game is a point-and-click adventure where dialogue is key. You'll gather clues from conversations, collect and combine objects, and deduce how everything fits together.

Puzzles range from locating specific items to assisting locals, solving minor crimes, and evading pursuers. You'll also find yourself mending clothes, baking bread, and even performing with a musical band.
