The story begins innocently enough: you doze off in front of the TV, only to become an unwitting participant in Dr. Pierce's dream therapy program. Trapped in a repeating dream, you must solve a series of increasingly surreal puzzles to break free.

Gameplay relies heavily on forced perspective mechanics, challenging you to manipulate object sizes – shrinking them to create platforms or enlarging them to overcome obstacles – to find your way out of each room. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, demanding you find the precise viewing angle to solve them.
