Superliminal, the critically acclaimed indie puzzle game, arrives on mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a bizarre, recurring dream on July 30th, when it launches on the App Store and Google Play. Pre-register now!
Developed by Pillow Castle and published by Noodlecake, Superliminal boasts "Very Positive" Steam reviews and now brings its mind-bending puzzles to mobile with controller support.
The story begins innocently enough: you doze off in front of the TV, only to become an unwitting participant in Dr. Pierce's dream therapy program. Trapped in a repeating dream, you must solve a series of increasingly surreal puzzles to break free.
Subscribe to Pocket Gamer on Guided by the well-meaning (but perhaps slightly unreliable) voice of Dr. Glenn Pierce and his AI assistant, you'll navigate a world where perspective is key. Gameplay relies heavily on forced perspective mechanics, challenging you to manipulate object sizes – shrinking them to create platforms or enlarging them to overcome obstacles – to find your way out of each room. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, demanding you find the precise viewing angle to solve them.
Enjoy a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks, after which the game will be $7.99. A free trial is available before committing to the full purchase. Learn more about Superliminal on Pillow Castle's website, or follow them on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
