Navigating the vast world of World of Warcraft on a majestic mount is undoubtedly one of the game's most exhilarating experiences. If you're aiming to soar through the skies on one of the game's more luxurious mounts, the Stormcrow known as Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, you're in for a thrilling quest. Named after the Siren Isle zone from the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, Thrayir is a mount that's as unique as it is beautiful, and it's tied to an intriguing event called a Storm, which has multiple phases across Siren Isle. Here's your guide to acquiring this stunning flying mount.
How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

To claim Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren as your own, you'll embark on a quest for five Runekeys, each obtained through different activities during the Storm event on Siren Isle:
- The Whirling Runekey can be secured from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn enemy located in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. During a Storm, visit the Vault, and Ksvir should appear, dropping the Whirling Runekey upon defeat.
- The Torrential Runekey requires you to gather seven Torrential Fragments. These drop from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.
- The Thunderous Runekey is assembled from five Thunderous Fragments, which you can find in any chest around Siren Isle, regardless of whether the area is experiencing a Storm.
- The Cyclonic Runekey can be fished up from anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
- The Turbulent Runekey is constructed from three Turbulent Fragments found in specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:
- Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
- Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone where the ghost is cowering.
- Within the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where the ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.

Once you've collected all five Runekeys, make your way back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but only during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering this area during any other phase won't allow you to trigger the ritual needed to use the keys. Upon entering the Forgotten Vault, navigate to the eastern room of the map. Inside, you'll find Thrayir's body on a platform encircled by five runestones. Insert each corresponding Runekey into the slots, and you'll be prompted with a quest called "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest, and Thrayir will be yours to ride across the vast expanses of Azeroth.
