My Time at Sandrock: A Guide to Double Beds

My Time at Sandrock offers a charming world to explore, relationships to build, and even marriage! To propose and build a life with your chosen villager, you'll need a double bed. Finding one can be tricky, so this guide will show you where to find them.

Where to Buy a Yakboy Double Bed

The easiest way to acquire a double bed is from By The Stairs, a shop located on the lower level of town, between the Commerce Guild and the Civil Corpse building. Arvio runs this shop, and the Yakboy Double Bed costs 6,250 Gols (discounts may be available). This purchase is a crucial step towards marriage.

The Yakboy Double Bed requires a 3x5 space and can only be placed indoors. Note that you'll need two of these beds to complete the "The President and His Wife" side mission. Due to its cost, saving up is recommended.

Upgrading and Redecorating the Yakboy Double Bed

While the basic Yakboy Double Bed is somewhat plain, you can customize it! Dye it using a single pigment to change its color. You can also transform it into a Starry Double Bed using the following materials:

  • Starry Night Double Bed Headboard: 3 Hardwood Planks
  • Starry Night Double Bed Mattress and Cover: 4 Wool
  • Mom's Quilts: 4 Wool Cloth, 6 Feathers, 3 Thin Threads
  • Starry Night Footboard: 3 Hardwood Planks, 3 Tanned Leather

Other Double Beds

Currently, there's only one other double bed option: the Elegant Large Bed. This is available through the Far East Furniture Pack DLC (priced at $3.99 USD). Purchasing this DLC grants you the Elegant Large Bed (a 4x5 size) and nine other matching furniture items, delivered to your in-game mailbox. Unlike the Yakboy bed, the Elegant Large Bed cannot be customized.
