XD Games has just unveiled exciting details about the upcoming sixth season of Torchlight: Infinite during their livestream preview. Get ready for a thrilling new hero and a host of new events that are set to launch soon.
Introducing Selena, the new hero who's set to revolutionize the gameplay in the Frozen Canvas. As a musician, Selena can switch between two dynamic forms to take down enemies. In her Bard Mode, she envelops her skills in foam that bursts into vibrant colors upon hitting enemies, unleashing powerful abilities. Switch to her Loud Song Mode, and you'll sacrifice some mobility for raw, devastating damage that can blow enemies away.
The sixth season's highlight is the Frozen Canvas theme, where you'll explore the icy expanses of the Netherrealm. Collect mystical Snowpaper Fragments to unlock new stages, battle enemies, and gather colors to create your own paintings. These paintings not only enhance your aesthetic experience but also grant you new abilities and skills, revealing hidden treasures along the way.
The new Inspiration Essence introduces a range of support skills to enhance your gameplay. Skills like Split Shot – Rapid Advance transform your basic attacks into a relentless barrage of projectiles. Meanwhile, Groundshaker – Wrathful Vault lets you crash down from the sky, dealing massive damage. The return of corrosion adds an element of risk and reward, challenging you to upgrade your equipment with the possibility of permanent changes if you fail.
The Netherrealm is getting a fresh makeover in the sixth season, and the new Supreme Showdown mode pits you against 20 of the toughest bosses yet. Survive this gauntlet, and you'll be rewarded with a Legendary Season Pactspirit.
