Pokémon Go’s March Community Day Classic is set to spotlight Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon, on March 22nd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. This is your chance to encounter Totodile in abundance, and if you're lucky, you might even snag a Shiny Totodile.
To capitalize on this event, you'll want to evolve your Croconaw into Feraligatr during the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time. Doing so will grant your Feraligatr the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon, boasting 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids. This move is a game-changer for any Water-type enthusiast looking to boost their team's strength.
For an even richer experience, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for just $2 (or the local equivalent). Completing this research not only deepens your engagement but also rewards you handsomely with a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple Totodile encounters, some of which come with a Seasonal Special Background.
Logging in during the Community Day Classic also activates a Timed Research that lasts for a full week, giving you additional opportunities to encounter Totodile and evolve your Feraligatr with Hydro Cannon before the deadline. Don't forget to redeem *Pokémon Go codes* to stock up on extra goodies!
The event comes packed with bonuses to enhance your gameplay. Eggs placed in Incubators will require only 1/4 of the usual distance to hatch, while Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours. Snapping photos during the event might just reward you with a delightful surprise.
Community Day-themed Field Research tasks will be available, offering rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and additional Totodile encounters. Don't miss out on the PokéStop Showcases either, where you can compete with others using Pokémon caught during the event.
To round off your experience, two event bundles packed with rewards will be available in the in-game shop. For even more options, check out the Pokémon Go Web Store.
