Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans

Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform "for good." Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 sparked widespread rumors of a potential departure, fueling uncertainty among his fanbase. However, his recent return with a new livestream, alongside fellow creators Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, on the weekend of January 4, 2025, marked a decisive shift. This marked his first stream in 74 days.

Ross, a prominent figure known for both his popularity and controversies, initially joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile streamers like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on the platform, his abrupt absence in 2024 led to speculation, including rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. These rumors were dispelled during a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven, where Ross explicitly stated his commitment to Kick. A subsequent tweet further solidified this commitment.

Beyond his return, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While specifics remain undisclosed, many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024 concerning unsanctioned events, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.

Ross's decision is a significant boost for both his fans and Kick itself. The platform, fueled by contracts with major streamers, continues its ambitious growth trajectory. As stated by co-founder Bijan Tehrani months ago, Kick aims to either surpass or acquire Twitch – a bold goal that, given their current momentum, seems increasingly plausible.
