Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations

Three towers comprise this quest, each initiating a sub-quest:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Northeastern tower.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Southern tower.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Southwestern tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

This tower lies northeast of Thorncrown Rises. Interact with Itzel, positioned east of the tower, to begin. The following steps are crucial:

1. Enter the tower via the hallway painting.
2. Follow quest markers to engage and defeat the Abyssal Mercator.
3. Collect supply chests in the northern, western, and eastern rooms.
4. Navigate through a second painting encounter, defeating more enemies and collecting chests.
5. Pursue and defeat another Abyssal Mercator, then follow it through a painting.
6. Open the chest at the hallway's end to halt enemy fire.
7. Defeat the blocking enemy.
8. Correctly arrange the paintings:
   • Top-left to bottom-right.
   • Painting behind top-left to bottom-left.
   • Top-right to top-left.
   • Painting behind bottom-right to top-right.
9. Collect the Premium Supply chest.
10. Defeat a final Abyssal Mercator, speak with Itzel, and collect the Tidal Supply chest. This weakens a Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

Proceed southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak with Insula to enter. Follow quest markers until encountering a loop; Insula will appear. Then:

1. Investigate the three marked spots.
2. Speak with Insula.
3. Enter the secret passage beneath the elevator.
4. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
5. Collect the supply chest and continue, engaging the Abyssal Patricius again.
6. Speak with Insula.
7. Collect the Tidal Supply chest.

This completes the Twilight Rise sub-quest and weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

Completing the previous two sub-quests automatically triggers this final part.

1. Speak with Insula and Itzel at the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower.
2. Use the Wingray (northwest of the beach) to fly to the tower.
3. Enter and follow quest markers.
4. Collect supply chests along the way, utilizing the grapple to ascend.
5. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
6. Collect the chest and continue grappling upwards, exploring for more chests and two Ragunna Sonance Caskets.
7. Use the chandelier mechanism to reach the top.
8. Speak with Insula and Itzel after discovering Liel's demise.
9. Use the portal to confront and defeat the Abyssal Patricius, obtaining the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

Exiting via the portal and speaking to Insula and Itzel awards the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower achievements. This concludes the Shadow of the Past quest.
