A recent developer update highlighted extensive PC optimization efforts. BioWare invested approximately 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing—40% of their total platform testing—ensuring a smooth experience. Further, nearly 10,000 hours were dedicated to user research, refining controls and UI across various setups.

The result? Native support for PS5 DualSense controllers (with haptic feedback), Xbox controllers, and keyboard/mouse. Seamless switching between input methods is possible mid-game or in menus. Customizable class-specific keybinds allow for personalized control schemes. Visual enhancements include 21:9 ultrawide support, a cinematic aspect ratio toggle, adjustable field of view (FOV), uncapped frame rates, full HDR support, and ray tracing.
