The existence of Floyd, a pink ninja previously only rumored, has been confirmed in Mortal Kombat 1. NetherRealm Studios' Ed Boon had hinted at a character of this description over time, and in 2023, dataminer TheThiny discovered references to a "Floyd" character within the game's files. Now, years later, Floyd is finally playable, albeit with currently undisclosed activation requirements.
