The recent viral Skibidi Toilet phenomenon led to a bizarre DMCA situation involving the popular sandbox game Garry's Mod. Fortunately, the issue appears to be resolved, as confirmed by game developer Garry Newman.
The identity of the party who sent the DMCA takedown notice remains undisclosed. However, speculation points towards either DaFuqBoom or Invisible Narratives, though this remains unconfirmed.

Garry Newman, creator of Garry's Mod, received the DMCA notice late last year. He expressed his disbelief on a Discord server, stating, "Can you believe the cheek?" The ensuing controversy quickly went viral. While Newman has confirmed the resolution, the identity of the copyright claimant sending the notice remains a mystery.
The DMCA targeted user-created Garry's Mod content featuring Skibidi Toilet characters like Titan Cameraman, Titan Speakerman, and Titan TV Man. The claimant argued that these unauthorized games generated significant revenue and infringed upon their registered copyrights. The notice specifically targeted "unauthorized Skibidi Toilet Garry's Mod" creations.
