World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is Adding More Areas than Just Undermine

Summary

  • World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces Undermine and two new subzones, Gutterville and Kaja'Coast.
  • Gutterville, located in the southeastern corner of the Ringing Deeps, features Excavation Site 9 and may connect to Undermine's corrupted area.
  • Kaja'Coast, situated on the southwestern coast of Zuldazar near Bilgewater Bonanza, is likely another entry point to Undermine.

In the upcoming World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, dubbed "Undermined," players will explore the new zone, Undermine, an underground Goblin capital city known for its towering structures, bustling streets, and innovative gadgets. However, the excitement doesn't stop there. Patch 11.1 will also introduce two new subzones: Gutterville and Kaja'Coast.

Gutterville is situated in the southeastern corner of the Ringing Deeps. This region, potentially featuring a corrupted area with Black Blood, is expected to include Excavation Site 9, one of the two new Delves in the patch. Gutterville might serve as an entrance point to Undermine, adding depth and mystery to the exploration.

On the southwestern coast of Zuldazar, near the Bilgewater Bonanza, players will discover the Kaja'Coast, a new Goblin-themed area. This location, close to the former Azerite mining operation, is believed to house the drill-like tram seen in the initial announcement of Patch 11.1 during the Warcraft Direct. The Kaja'Coast is likely to be another ingress into the expansive Undermine zone.

The map of Undermine reveals Slam Central Station as a central hub with five visible terminals. While Gutterville and Kaja'Coast are likely two of these, the remaining three terminals hint at additional Goblin-themed areas that could be introduced in the update.

Although Patch 11.1 is slated for a mid to late February release, players can get a sneak peek on the Public Test Realm (PTR) starting in early January. This early access will allow fans to explore the new World of Warcraft content and anticipate the full release of the patch.
