Warframe: 1999's March Update: Techrot Encore Brings Boy Band Bosses and More!
Get ready for a blast from the past (and the future!) as Warframe: 1999 receives its Techrot Encore update this March. The update, showcased in a recent Digital Extremes devstream, introduces the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple, alongside four new Protoframes and a plethora of new content. But that's not all!
Prepare to face a unique challenge: the Technocyte Coda, a mutated version of the boy band On-Lyne, familiar to players who participated in the game's ARG. These once-harmless pop stars have undergone a dramatic transformation, becoming formidable new Lich adversaries.
To combat this new threat, players will receive a powerful arsenal. Four new Scaldra weapons offer diverse combat options, while enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system await those seeking in-game companionship. A new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin and the aforementioned Protoframes add further customization options.
Warframe: 1999's unique Y2K aesthetic continues to charm players, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monstrosity" enemies are a testament to the game's quirky charm.
Before the March update arrives, players can enjoy several pre-update events. Starting February 6th, the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast returns, offering new skins and Nightwave Vol. 8 for additional rewards. Don't miss out on boosting your gameplay with our regularly updated list of Warframe codes for free in-game benefits.
