Warner Bros. Games is shutting down Mortal Kombat: Onslaught less than a year after its launch. The mobile game was removed from the Google Play Store and App Store on July 22nd, 2024. In-app purchases will be disabled on August 23rd, 2024, with servers officially going offline October 21st, 2024.
The reasons behind the shutdown remain undisclosed. However, NetherRealm's recent closure of its mobile games division (responsible for Mortal Kombat Mobile and Injustice) suggests a potential shift in their overall mobile game strategy.
Refunds for In-Game Purchases:
NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have yet to comment on refunds for in-game purchases. They've promised further information soon; players are advised to monitor their official X (formerly Twitter) account for updates.

Released in October 2023 to commemorate the franchise's 30th anniversary, Mortal Kombat: Onslaught offered a unique take on the series.
