Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy leverages the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to dramatically reduce boss health.
The method, while seemingly simple from a player's perspective, involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and a collection of Xiao Lanterns obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, players can inflict massive AoE damage, effectively decimating the boss's health bar. The damage amplification stems from the interaction between the Elemental Burst and the lanterns. Deploying a hundred lanterns, for instance, can result in damage reaching millions.
While this exploit is likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
