Rinascita is brimming with discoveries, and among its many attractions are puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve. Among these are Morph Paintings, which are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.

Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are straightforward yet rewarding, especially if you're aiming to collect additional resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Below is a comprehensive guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and strategies for solving them.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoring Morph Paintings involves locating the correct paintings and placing them on the appropriate pedestals. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals to identify the portrait they're referring to. Then, use your Levitator utility to position the painting correctly. The game typically auto-equips the Levitator, but you can manually select it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left if needed.

Currently, two such paintings exist in the game, connected to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

As part of the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore the three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle that you can solve by following these steps (using the central large painting as a reference):

  • Swap the paintings located at the front-left and back-right positions.
  • Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
  • Place the painting found behind the chairs on the right into the front-right position.

Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest requires you to complete four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Your task is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals in a sequence that narrates a story from left to right. The solution is illustrated in the image above.

To ensure you're placing the Morph Paintings correctly, observe if the frame illuminates after insertion. This visual cue can help you quickly and efficiently solve the puzzle.
