Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently, will likely serve as Mizuki's introduction.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character has been anticipated since late 2024, with leaks suggesting her role as Inazuma's first Standard Banner addition. Version 5.4's beta confirmed this, revealing her kit and role as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst—essentially a premium Sucrose with healing capabilities. While Sucrose may excel in certain situations, Mizuki's versatility should make her a valuable asset in many Taser teams.
Initially leaked as a tapir yokai, the official reveal portrayed Mizuki as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse, an old friend of Yae Miko. Her appearance during the flagship event is highly probable, alongside a dedicated Story Quest in Version 5.4.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners are anticipated to feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, with Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Mizuki's transition to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4 means collectors may prioritize acquiring her Signature Weapon instead.
In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined update. It will include only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem yield will be lower than average. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers a compelling alternative.
