Zenless Zone Zero Reveals S-Rank Banner Reruns in Update 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero is set to bring excitement to its player base with the announcement of the return of S-Rank agents in the upcoming Version 1.5 update. Fans of the game will be thrilled to know that Ellen Joe and Qingyi, two highly sought-after characters, will be making a comeback. These agents, integral to the immersive world of Zenless Zone Zero, were previously available for a limited time, prompting players to use their in-game resources or real money to unlock them.

Unlike its counterparts, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, which have long embraced the concept of rerun banners, Zenless Zone Zero has primarily focused on introducing new agents with each update. The anticipation around the possibility of rerun banners peaked with the expected Version 1.4 update, but it was Version 1.5 that finally confirmed this eagerly awaited feature. This development is especially beneficial for newcomers and those who missed out on earlier opportunities to acquire these powerful characters.

Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero is structured into two phases, starting with the launch of Phase 1 on January 22. During this phase, players will have the chance to pull for the Ether agent Astra Yao, alongside the special rerun banner for Ellen Joe, who debuted in Version 1.1. Additionally, Ellen's Agent Story will be added, enriching her character's background and appeal.

The second phase, kicking off on February 12, introduces Evelyn Chevalier and brings back Qingyi, the PubSec Agent from the latter part of Version 1.1. Both reruns will include their specific W-Engines, allowing players to equip these characters with their signature gear for optimal performance.

In an exciting reveal during the Version 1.5 Special Program, HoYoverse also confirmed rumors about new character outfits. Three new outfits will be available: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Notably, the "Cunning Cutie" outfit for Nicole will be free to claim as part of the Day of Brilliant Wishes limited-time event, adding an extra layer of excitement to the update.
