Long ago, to pacify the elemental spirits sowing chaos across the Klein Continent, Grand Sorcerer Huey placed gemstones that could regulate nature within five altars, protecting them with powerful seals. Every decade, Huey and his clan would visit these altars to maintain the stones. However, twenty years ago, Huey disappeared. With no one to regulate the gemstones, the balance slowly unraveled, leading to natural disasters and the spread of the corrupting Dead Zone. It was then that Huey's familiars summoned the protagonist from another world: Eiden.

Now on the Klein Continent, Eiden takes up the mantle of the missing Grand Sorcerer. He learns to control his essence—a power akin to Huey's—and engages in "intimate exchanges" with the clan members to master this energy, releasing the seals on the gemstones and restoring their power.
