The IAȘI BILET app, provided by the Iași Public Transport Company, serves as a comprehensive travel platform, enabling users to perform all essential tasks for seamless public transport use.

The app supports purchasing tickets via bank card, calculating optimal travel routes, and displaying real-time information on lines, stations, and vehicles on an interactive map.

After account creation and linking a transport card, users can top up their card with travel vouchers directly in the app using secure online payments. Card status and active tickets can be checked anytime.

Users can manage multiple transport cards within one account, performing actions like topping up e-wallets, purchasing new subscriptions, or renewing existing ones.

Transaction history is available, allowing users to review details of purchases, validations, and controls.

Eligible users can apply for subsidized profiles directly in the app by submitting required documents. Once approved, they can access discounted or free tickets through the app or at ticket counters.

Legal entities partnered with the transport authority can manage their card portfolios via the web portal or mobile app.

Users can opt for notifications on their device or via email for ticket purchases, nearing expiration dates, or other card-related actions.

The app helps travelers find the best route from point A to point B, leveraging real-time vehicle location data.

Travelers can start journeys from their current location or another point on the map, selecting destinations by address, point of interest, station, or map pin. Previously searched or favorited locations can also be used.

The app displays the time to the nearest station, vehicle arrival times, and estimated trip duration.

Frequently used locations can be saved to a dedicated menu page or accessed quickly from the homepage, streamlining future route planning.

Real-time vehicle tracking shows which transport to take and alerts users when a line change is needed.

Users can view a line’s full route or a specific direction, save favorite lines, and receive alerts about disruptions that may impact their journey.

From the dedicated lines page, users can search for a line and view real-time vehicle positions for a chosen direction.

Selecting a station from the homepage or a line’s route displays all lines stopping there, along with the next three arrival times and full schedules.

Ticket sales points are marked on the map, with operating hours available upon selection.

The app is available in Romanian and English, based on the device’s language settings.
